Working on a pitch.
Over the past couple of weeks I’ve been scouring the country for old Subbuteo pitches for an interesting personal project I’ve planned. To celebrate the World Cup in South Africa, I’m designing a poster to be screenprinted onto a variety of vintage pitches, some as much as 30 years old.
As they’re pretty tricky to come by, my goal (ha ha!) is to produce a limited edition of 20 prints which will be available for sale in the run up to the World Cup Finals on June 11th.
I’ll be updating my blog over the next few weeks with the progress but as the first pitches and boxes are now starting to arrive, I thought I’d show a couple of snaps.
