Brief encounter.
Here’s a bit of Friday entertainment for you. The image above is a copy of the brief sent by Mick Jagger to Andy Warhol for the design of a Rolling Stones album cover. It makes a big change to the 8 page Word document accompanied by a 80 slide PowerPoint that often gets sent.
The brief is great- so simple and to the point, showing great trust by Jagger in Warhol to just get on and do a good job. If only all clients and briefs could be like that; ‘Do what you like, tell me how much money you want and take no notice of what other people say!’
