Private(s) View
It was the private view of the Type Tarts exhibition earlier this week, so I headed down to take a look at some of the submissions, including mine, which are on display at KK Outlet on Hoxton Square. The exhibition coincides with Wallpaper* magazine’s July ‘Sex Issue’ which features some of the entries.
Organised by UK Type and St. Brides Library, the designs are based on the infamous calling cards left in phone booths- but with a twist. Each one focusses on a particular typeface and leads to, in most cases, a witty response. Some on the other hand are just down right filthy!
The two shown above are some great examples- from the guys at Form, and Carter Wong. There’s a collection of more photos from the exhibition here, courtesy of Richard Holt.
The exhibition ends tomorrow so check it out if you’re in the area, otherwise, there’s a permanent collection on the Wallpaper* website here.
